About

National Whatever Day is a veteran-owned and veteran-created site.

It lists the national days Americans mark, one date at a time: fun, food, and traditional US observances, plus the federal holidays as plain facts. Each day has its own page with the date for this year and the next four.

Military memorials such as Memorial Day, Veterans Day and Patriot Day are shown alone on their dates, with nothing else and no ads.

Dates come from official proclamations and public calendars, checked against more than one source where possible.
